Travelling by bicycle has long felt like the ultimate way to see the world. Over the past two decades I’ve cycled in over 90 countries, covering more than 160,000km by bicycle. My trips are self-supported and rarely follow a pre-planned route. I love the simplicity and sense of freedom that travelling by bicycle provides, immersing you in the places you pass through at the speed you choose.

That wiggle of green lines on the map below roughly shows where I’ve cycled. There are plenty of places I haven’t been and still wish to explore, including the Americas. All in good time.
